Luciano Pavarotti singing from a concert in January 1980 with the NY Philharmonic cond. by Zubin Mehta. Compare this performance with other (later) dates; Pavarotti here is clearly still in absolute total command. This was part of the "Live from Lincoln Center" 30th anniversary special.

Three accepted offers led Darien's residential real estate statistics for the last full week in 2013.

Asking prices for the three ranged from $599,000 to $1,175,000.

Results in other real estate categories, according to the Darien MLS, were:

-- Two new listings, and

-- Two closings.

There were no new listings or properties which went under contract.
