Magnificent...
Detail from The Garden of Earthly Delights.
The Dutch city of 's-Hertogenbosch is commemorating the 500th anniversary of the death of one of its most famous native sons, Hieronymous Bosch, with a major exhibition of his work, Alexandra Schwartz reports on newyorker.com.
However, Bosch's best known painting, The Garden of Earthly Delights, remains in the Prado.
But you can see his freaky masterpiece here in a magnificent, hi-res, interactive version: https://danutm.wordpress.com/2016/02/03/hieronymus-bosch-the-garden-of-earthly-delights/
