An Emirates Airbus made a wild, cross-wind landing in Germany last week.

White-knuckle flying was in the news last week with a tricky, cross-wind landing of a huge Airbus 380 in Dusseldorf and the loss of an engine on an Air France Airbus on a flight from Paris to Los Angeles.
