An icy morning in Darien.

Darien's residential real estate market closed 2018 with mixed results.

Results, according to the Darien MLS, were:

-- Total active listings were up 5 percent;

-- Number sold dropped 14 percent;

-- Sold volume was down 17 percent, and

-- Average sale price declined 2 percent.
