Pseudo-carbonara has provoked outrage in Italy.
Mama mia! What is the world coming to many Italians are wondering with virtually instant spaghetti alla carbonara popping up in France and the U.S.
I was introduced to carbonara while stationed in Italy. It was magnifico and is still a great favorite.
