Seawolf: One of the Navy's Most Secret Subs

A rare look at very special boat...

The U.S. Navy's powerful attack submarine USS Seawolf.

Some time, apparently in August 2013, the U.S, Navy's nuclear-powered attack submarine USS Seawolf eased out of port in Bremerton, Wash., David Axe reported on nationalinterest.org.

A month later the U.S. Sixth Fleet, in charge of ships in European waters, posted a series of photos on Flickr depicting the U.S. ambassador to Olso touring Seawolf at a naval base in Southern Norway, Axe wrote.

It seems Seawolf traveled to Norway along a path rarely taken -- under the Arctic ice, he added.
