The rollout of the world's largest plane from its hangar in California.
The Stratolaunch, the world's largest airplane rolled out its California hangar last week.
The Stratolaunch project got its start in 2011 as a joint effort between Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and Scaled Composites founder Burt Rutan, according to cnet.com.
Their goal: Create a powerful new commercial plane capable of launching rockets directly into space.
