Darien saw a surge in residential real estate market activity in the week ending today.

Results, according to the Darien MLS, were:

-- 13 new listings of property for sale;

-- 28 price changes;

-- Nine accepted offers;

-- Two properties going under contract and,

-- Seven closings.
