NASA's Cassini to Dive Between Saturn and its Rings Today

Uncharted territory...

NASA's Cassini spacecraft is set to make its first dive through the narrow gap between Saturn and its rings today.

The $3.26 billion spacecraft will fly through the danger zone at 76,000 mph -- 17 times faster than the fastest jet in history.
