Landing a Boeing 777 at Night at JFK

Fascinating...

A rare view of a night landing at JFK.

There’s only so much us meager passengers can see during the final approach of a flight, Ryan Elton reports on jalopnik.com.

Thanks to a new high-definition video, we’re able to get a glimpse of what it’s like inside the cabin of a Boeing 777 as it makes a descent toward New York City. It’s fascinating to watch, Elton wrote.

The seven-minute clip from High Pressure Aviation Films offers a wide-angle shot of the city’s skyline, and there’s helpful captions that illustrate what the pilots are doing. (Air Traffic Control types talk too damn fast.), he added.

With flying safety in the news today, here's an especially timely video: https://jalopnik.com/heres-what-it-takes-to-land-a-boeing-777-at-the-busiest-1821586958/amp
