Month over month
On a month over month basis comparing March 2014 with March 2015, local real estate activity on the Darien MLS was generally slower, but Rowayton was an exception.
Sales in Darien were down 10 percent but up 10 percent in Rowayton.
Sales volume in Darien was down 8 percent and rose 24 percent in Rowayton.
Average sales price in Darien was up 1 percent and gained 12 percent in Rowayton.
Year over year
On a year over year basis, activity in local markets on the Darien MLS also was generally off at the end of March.
In Darien, sales were down 19 percent, while in Rowayton they were unchanged.
Sales volume in Darien was off 2 percent and up 13 percent in Rowayton.
Average sales price in Darien was up 20 percent and rose 13 percent in Rowayton.
