The Last Book Store: A Surprising Success

I'll try books...

Enjoying a discovery at The Last Book Store.

When Josh Spencer opened The Last Bookstore in downtown Los Angeles, he thought it was going to fail within three years due to the declining state of the book industry, Madeline Raynor reports on slate.com.

That's why he close the boldly ironic name, Raynor wrote.

But The Last Bookstore has thrived, she added.

In a video from Chad Howitt, we learn about the successful shop and its owner Spencer, who is a husband, father and paraplegic:  http://www.slate.com/articles/video/video/2016/09/this_documentary_spotlights_the_last_bookstore_in_downtown_los_angeles_video.html

Where some great writing often began.

Something for just about everyone.

In some of the many stacks at The Last Book Store.
