New Record: iPhone Sales Near 1.2B Units in Just 10 Years

As we head toward the 10th anniversary of the iPhone on Thursday, the WSJ has put together a chart comparing the sales trajectory of the Apple smartphone against other iconic products, Brian Lovejoy reports on wsjcom.

The iPhone has not only outsold every other product on the chart,  but its done so in a fraction of the time the others took, including Barbie Doll, Sony Walkman, and Zippo lighters, Lovejoy wrote.
