Darien First Half 2018 Real Estate Results Mixed

Year-over-year update...

A quiet afternoon at the Darien Boat Club.

Darien posted mixed residential real estate results for the first half of 2018 compared with the same period a year ago.

Highlights of the year-to-date and year-over-year comparisons, according to the Darien MLS today, are:

-- Total active listings:  +8 percent;

-- Number sold: -17 percent;

-- Sold volume: -14 percent, and

-- Average sale price: +2 percent.
